Citizens Bank, NA announces redemption of senior notes

PROVIDENCE, RI–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Citizens Bank, NA today announced the redemption on April 26, 2022 (the “Redemption Date”) of all of (i) its 2.65% Senior Notes in an aggregate principal amount of $500,000,000 due May 26, 2022 (CUSIP No. 17401QAL5) and (ii) $250,000,000 floating rate senior notes in aggregate principal amount due May 26, 2022 (CUSIP No. 17401QAM3) ( collectively the “Bonds”). The redemption price for the Notes will be equal to 100% of the principal amount of the Notes redeemed, together with any accrued and unpaid interest up to the excluded redemption date.

From the date of redemption, the Notes will no longer be deemed outstanding and interest will no longer accrue on the Notes. Payment of the redemption price for the Notes will be made through the services of The Depository Trust Company.
